每周反射 (Weekly Reflection):

This week went well. It was exciting to learn how to go shopping and especially to learn how to bargain. I've never bargained for an item at a store before so it was kind of fun. I feel like my change in studying habits has allowed me to better understand the hanzi and I am starting to put all the words I have learned so far together to make my own sentences. I am pretty nervous about my final oral exam on monday, I have been practicing most of the week so hopefully everything goes well with that. Now next week we will be focusing on a Week 10 review of all the lessons we have learned over the term. The term has flown by so fast, I'm just trying to keep up now!

I am a college student at North Central College. I am studying Marketing Sales and Psychology. I can speak English, and a little bit of Chinese and Spanish. My college life is very busy. I also like to watch a good movie. I use the internet a lot! I also really like to give my friends a call.

Reflection:

This past week we spent our time reviewing the lesson's we have learned over the 学期. We reviewed lesson's 8-12, focusing on lesson's 12,11, and 10. Unfortunately, I was sick on Monday and missed class. But I was able to make it to Wednesday and Friday's classes where we spent A LOT of time reviewing 汉字 for the lessons we were going over and this helped me memorize several words I was having trouble with a lot! Although it was hard, being quizzed on the 汉字 helped me a lot I think, but it was pretty stressful at first. We are going into week 9 of 10 already and I am preparing for my final one-on-one talk and interview with my professor . I posted the script to my introduction above where I talk about myself, my daily life, and what I like. Now I have 联系 this A LOT and memorize it for the meeting!

祝我好运!

每周反射 (Weekly Reflection):

This past weeks lesson was very useful in terms of 中文 vocabulary that I will be able to use in real life situations. We learned several words and phrases on how to order food at a restaurant. We also had a group skit at the end of the week that was very helpful with the pronunciation of the words as well as how to use them in a structured sentence. The skits were fun to watch and interesting to perform. I did not do very well on my Wednesday check-up because I had a very long night the day before, but I am going to redo it and fix my mistakes. This week went pretty well, now I must prepare for 第十二课 for next week.

期中周检讨

晚上好!

这个周是期中周。It was pretty stressful and 我是很忙!But it went much better than I expected in terms of my Chinese course. I am sad to say that I will not be continuing onto Chinese 103,  but I am going to make the best of the time I have left this term. This week we focused on review of 第八课,第六课,和 第十课。We focused on going over grammar and hanzi this week and played a lot of fun team activities to review and work in groups. This past friday, my group was actually doing very good in the review games more than normal. But I had a lot of fun learning Chinese this way because it was both challenging and entertaining. Now I have to spend my time tomorrow preview for 第十一课 that we will be learning this week. I am excited about this lesson because we get to learn about foods to order and this will be very useful! Hope everyone has a good rest of the 周末和周。

谢谢!

However, I still don't know what clip I will be voice shadowing for my midterm project but I will be researching this weekend!

在见你下周末!
